Outdoor & indoor fitness bootcamp
Teresa’s Bootcamp on the north shore of Staten Island combines cardio & strength training exercises into a fun, high-energy workout in two of NYC’s hidden gems – Clove Lakes Park and Silver Lake Park. There are no fancy machines, only fresh air, trails, and scenic lakes to serve as a backdrop for a high intensity workout for all types. Whether you are training for a marathon or have never done a single pushup, certified trainer Teresa Kramer tailors every exercise to matching individual bootcampers’ fitness levels – bootcampers currently include ages 19 – 68! This great alternative to the treadmill or Zumba studio results in a stronger, leaner and more balanced body for those who enjoy the outdoors. In addition to several bootcamp sessions throughout the week, Teresa’s Bootcamp also offers a “Stroller Bootcamp” dedicated to giving new moms an invigorating workout with baby in tow!
The current summer session of the bootcamp runs from July 3rd - Sept. 2nd:
Clove Lakes (bootcampers meet in the Staten Island Zoo parking lot)
Tuesday 9:15am
Thursday 9:15am
Silver Lake (bootcampers meet on the reservoir bridge)
Tuesday's 6:30pm
Thursday's 6:30pm
Saturday and Sunday @ 9:00am.
Each class is a little over an hour long, and although not necessary, bootcampers are recommended to bring a yoga mat, towel, and workout gloves. For more information contact Teresa at (718) 419-1698, or by email at teresasbootcamp@hotmail.com, or simply just leave me a message in my inbox.
